Nobody at Esquire works on commission — not the owners, not the designers. The people below are paid to get your room right, and that is the entire arrangement.

Ted

Founder

Second generation

Ted has spent his working life on the Jackson Road floor, and it shows — ask him about a fabric, a floor, or a house on your street and he'll have a story and a straight answer.

Josh

Owner

Third Generation

Josh runs the day-to-day with the same rule his father taught him: if we wouldn't put it in our own homes, we don't sell it in the store.

Sara

Interior Designer

Sara is usually the first designer you'll meet at the Ann Arbor design center. She's known for reading a room fast — and for talking clients out of things they'd regret.

Molly

Interior Designer

Molly trained at Kendall and has spent over a decade matching fabric, floor and light. Window treatments with tricky architecture are her favorite kind of problem.

Lori

Interior Designer

Lori works the showroom floor and handles many of our in-home consultations — where she does her best work: matching samples to the light in your own rooms.

Renee

Design Consultant

Renee has been helping Michigan families furnish their homes for more than three decades. There isn't a fabric book in the building she doesn't know by heart.
